The purpose of the Northwest Arkansas Breast Cancer Prevention Study is to use a part of the GrassrootsHealth D*action project to demonstrate the potential of breast cancer prevention as a result of women achieving a recommended vitamin D serum level of 40-60 ng/ml (100-150 nmol/L).
The Vitamin D Society
The Vitamin D Society is a Canadian non-profit group organized to:
- Increase awareness of the many health conditions strongly linked to vitamin D defiency.
- Encourage all Canadians to be proactive in protecting their health and have their vitamin D blood levels tested annually.
- Fund valuable vitamin D research.
The Canadian Breast Cancer Prevention Project
The purpose of the Canada Breast Cancer Prevention Study is to use a part of the GrassrootsHealth D*action project to demonstrate the potential of breast cancer prevention as a result of women achieving a recommended vitamin D serum level of 40-60 ng/ml (100-150 nmol/L).
